The OSFP-XD DR8+ module combines state-of-the-art 200G per lane optical technologies and industry-leading digital signal processing techniques. 6Tbps of transmission speed over 2km distance at a low power consumption of less than 23W over 0-70C temperature. The OSFP Management interface is described in a separate document, Common Management Interface Specification for 8/16X. Similarly, it converts 8x212Gb/s optical signals to 8x212Gb/s output electrical data on the receiver side.
