It was constructed in the 17th century by Usta Saleh Al-Soudito connect two villages at the top of two mountains (Jebel Al-Emir and Jebel Faish) in Shaharah District, Amran Governorate, northern Yemen. Spanning a 300-foot-deep gorge between the Jabal al Emir and Jabal al Faish mountains, this limestone bridge measures 65 feet in length and 9 feet in width.
