QSFP-DD (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Double Density) is designed to increase port density by adding a second row of electrical contacts, enabling 8 lanes of 50 Gbps PAM4 signaling for an aggregate bandwidth of 400 Gbps. Cisco QSFP-DD and OSFP 800G ZR/ZR+ digital coherent optics modules enable 800G traffic over amplified Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (DWDM) links up to 120 km for 800ZR and over 1000 km for 800G ZR+. We provide an industrial-grade reference framework, complying with the latest MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) updates, including SFF-8679 Rev 1.
