The Distribution Network Development Plan (DNDP) is a strategic document mandated by the EU Directive 2019/944 to be developed, published, and updated biennially by European Distribution System Operators (DSOs). The document aims to identify prevailing practices and propose initial insights into Distribution. This paper is a preprint of a paper submitted to IET Renewable Power Generation and is subject to Institution of Engineering and Technology Copyright.
