Argentina pigtail channel
The channel, trending east-west, is about 150 miles (240 km) long and 3 to 8 miles wide; it separates the archipelago's main island to the north from Navarino, Hoste, and other smaller islands to the south. The Beagle Channel (Spanish: Canal del Beagle; Yahgan: Onašaga) is a strait in the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago, on the extreme southern tip of South America between Chile and Argentina.
