The X-123 is a complete X-Ray Detector System in one small box that fits in your hand. Our philosophy has always been to create small, low power, high performance instruments while keeping them simple to operate. An Amptek X-123 X-ray spectrometer has been mounted on an Equipoise lamp arm along with a 1 µC 241 Am source from a domestic smoke alarm.
