The Universal Service Fund (USF) has announced plans to deploy 2000 kilometers of optical fiber cable (OFC) in fiscal year 2024-25, targeting rural connectivity and 5G readiness, as disclosed during a National Assembly Standing Committee on IT and Telecommunication briefing.
